About Jean Pesce

Jean Pesce is an award-winning writer and filmmaker. She worked in film production in New York City before earning her MFA in writing and directing at NYU. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her rescue dog, a Brussels Griffon named Henry. Learn more >

Awards

Jean's screenplay, Cuttlefish, was the recipient of The Richard Vague Production Fund. It was also selected for The Black List Mentor Program and was a Finalist at The Austin Film Festival. Her thesis film, So You Like the Neighborhood premiered at Tribeca, won the Audience Choice Award at the Santa Fe Indie Film Festival, was the winner of "Best Short Student Film" for the National Board of Review, and was Shortlisted for the Student BAFTA Awards.
