Jackie Jones and the Dancing Cat

Synopsis

A short doc about Jackie Jones and her incredible musical act, which she performs every weekend at the Alemany Farmers Market in San Francisco, CA. Jackie plays the musical saws and guitar to pre-recorded tunes that she composed herself. She is always accompanied by Effi-jean (like “Effigy”), the Dancing Cat. Jackie has been living in San Francisco since the 1950s, and has done everything from hang out with Ginsberg, to play drums for The Cockettes. She is an amazing musician and a true San Francisco treasure!
